• Who is responsible for staff transportation?
Transportation will be provided to and from the event site; one way travel will be charged if the location is not T accessible from our Copley Square office. If the event is located beyond I-495, round-trip travel time is charged.
• What is the uniform for Caterstaff?
The standard uniform is black dress shirt, long black tie and black dress pants. We are able to modify the uniform to meet your requirements.
• What is your cancellation policy?
We require 24-hours advance notice for cancellations or a fee of $50 per employee will be charged.
• What are your payment terms?
For private clients, we ask for a 50% deposit based on the estimate to hold the date and secure the staff. We accept Visa, Master Card and American Express. For corporate clients, payment terms can be arranged with proper credit references.
• What is event management and how does it work?
For larger events, Caterstaff has a team of trained and seasoned managers ready to delegate and expedite all types of functions. We have a team of seasoned professionals to accept responsibility and make the event a success.
• What services are included in event planning?
Some private clients are planning an event but need assistance in putting all the detailed components together. For a nominal fee, we will help you with rental equipment needs, do site visits, recommend vendors for florists, rental, linen, sites, caterer, provide a real timeline and action plan for the event. Liquor requirements, entertainment, paper products, etc.
• Does Caterstaff also prepare food for events?
Caterstaff is not a full service caterer. We are happy to recommend a caterer that will best suit your requirements. Our Caterchef service utilizes your kitchen to prepare food from scratch for small house parties.
• What insurance does Caterstaff have?
We are completely insured with general liability, liquor liability and workman's compensation insurance.
